 Yes, I am reading your ms. with great interest.  It's one of the best
 motivated introductions to computer science I've seen.  Indeed, having
 myself gotten into this business as "an intelligent but untutored"
 individual, a book like yours would have saved me a tremendous amount
 of effort in appreciating what many of the fundamental issues are.
 Frankly, I was surprised to find that it wasn't just another LISP
 text, as the title seems to imply but is, rather, "A Car for People
 Who Think".  Right now, lots of obligations are building up again,
 so I've bogged down less than half way through, but the book is
 staying near the top of the stack.  I promise to give you my reactions
 to all of it when I'm through.
